You know what's frustrating? Post-2008 MF DOOM. After releasing the still underrated Born Like This, DOOM caught all kinds of hell for sending doppelgangers to take stage on his 2008 American tour, which is obviously a no-no, but constantly wearing a mask gives you the ability to take those risks. In an attempt to right his wrong, he actually went on a European Tour, but here's the thing-- he got stuck there after apparently having visa issues. As a result, he went back to London, his birthplace that he hadn't lived in since his childhood, and started to record. The solidarity and rumors of Madvillainy 2 created an ample amount of potential greatness. Long story short, he cooked up Keys to the Kuffs, a collaboration with Jneiro Jarel. Not a terrible project, but definitely underwhelming, as most listeners know what DOOM is capable of making.
