A few months ago I ran a review on Will Rap For Food, CunninLynguists' debut album, with plans to wrap up their whole discography relatively quickly. That, however, never came to fruition, as there's been a hefty amount of new material that I wanted to speak on. Conveniently enough, the group released a new project that falls under the category the last sentence described. So hopefully this will also give me the motivation to write about their nearly flawless back-catalog.

What if I told you that every group from the south wasn't completely focused on making you dance. Well, if you've followed this blog at all you should already know that's true, but I thought that would be a cool enough first sentence. Still reading? Then it's done it's job. Anyways, my statement still holds a ton of truth to it. I'm not going to be the asshole that says the south killed hip hop (mostly because the genre is still alive and doing very well), but you have to at least acknowledge it's part in the decrease in quality over the years. That being said, the region continues to make some of the most innovative and interesting music because for every 100 Young Thugs, there a group like CunninLynguists.
